Gardening greatness was celebrated in St Keverne on Saturday at a spring flower show.
Featuring exhibits from members of St Keverne Gardeners’ Society, the show attracted 234 entries over a range of classes.
It was also very well attended by spectators, who enjoyed the wide range of daffodils, other plants and photographs.
Show secretary Marilyn Hebbron described the display as “magnificent.”
Taking away the trophy for most points overall was Mandy Pound, while best exhibit in the show went to Philip Hodges. Both took home a plate and voucher.
Doug Stevens won the cup for most points in the daffodil classes as well as the best daffodil in the show, which won him a voucher for Ron Scamp Daffodils.
Frances Hosken took best exhibit in the flowers and plants section, with Roger Pearce winning best photography.
