Two crews called to Perranporth dishwasher fire
A dishwasher fire at Morwenna Gardens in Perranporth has been attended and extinguished by two fire crews.
A fire engine from Perranporth and one from Newquay were called just after 8am to reports of a fire in a kitchen.
The fire was found to be accidental and confined to the dishwasher, and crews extinguished it using breathing apparatus, a hose-reel jet and a main jet then ventilated the property using a positive ventilation fan.
