RNAS Culdrose has been given the go-ahead to hold this year’s Air Day on a Thursday.
This differs from previous events, which in the past have usually been held on a Wednesday.
It means the 2014 event will take place on Thursday, July 31.
Captain Mark Garratt, the commanding officer of Culdrose, said: “Now that we have been given the official go ahead to hold an Air Day, my team are already starting to book air craft for the air display and are working to make it a day to remember.”
Tickets will be on sale after Easter.
