A man has elected for jury trial after pleaded not guilty to stealing coal worth £144.
Johnathan Jeffrey Ernest Fincham, aged 43, of Pellor Fields, Breage, elected for a trial at Truro Crown Court when he appeared before Truro magistrates.
He has pleaded not guilty to stealing 18 bags of coal worth £144 from Trevena Cross Nursery at Helston on December 14.
His case was sent to the higher court on May 2 for a preliminary hearing.
