Pupils at St Mary’s School in Falmouth enjoyed an afternoon of pasties and Cornish cream teas scones to end their half term topic Cornwall work and play.
Children in class four at the school have been learning about the history and culture of the county, including a trip to Geevor tin mine, and as part of their technology project they baked the afternoon meal for their parents.
Headteacher Jacqui Scarborough said: “They had to cost out how much money would go into the pasties and scones.
“It’s rewarding for them to bring their parents in to sample their work, a lovely way to end the half term.”
