'Wholehearted' support for Dracaena Centre ping pong expansion
The Dracaena Centre’s plans to extend its sports hall out onto the basketball court to accommodate the Falmouth Docks Table Tennis Club have received the wholehearted support of town councillors.
The English Table Tennis Association has awarded the local club a grant of almost £120,000 which is enabling it to establish a headquarters at the Dracaena Centre.
To accommodate the club, the centre is proposing an extension which will provide space for up to three tables along with a small kitchen, office and storage area. The application will be determined by Cornwall Council.
