Lizard local Perran Pryor is showing the length he is prepared to go for a good cause, having his dreadlocks removed in aid of the Lizard Lifeboat.
Perran, a civilian worker at RNAS Culdrose and volunteer at the Lizard RNLI, has been growing his 15 luscious locks for seven years, and they have reached an astounding 32 inches.
Sponsor forms are available from The Tophouse and Witchball in The Lizard village, as well as from the Hazephron Inn at Gunwalloe, the Black Swan Inn at Gweek and the lifeboat station.
Perran has previously been in the limelight with his appearance on BBC1’s Total Wipeout, winning the original and then the Legends version of the competition.
