Helston's Emma Stepto was the second British woman over the finish line in this year's London Marathon.
She completed the gruelling 26.2 mile course in a time of just over two hours and 36 minutes, less than two minutes behind the first British female back.
Emma, who runs with Cornwall Athletic Club, was one of just two British women placed in the "elite" category of the race.
She was placed 14th overall, missing out on the top ten by just five minutes.
