Wharfside traders in Penryn aim to get the summer season off to a lively start with a charity party between noon and 5pm this Saturday, April 19.
There will be food, drink, music and a collection for Falmouth-based cancer charity Pants at Islington Wharf in Church Hill. Those taking part include Deli & Spice, Seaborne Fish, The Wharf restaurant, Magnetix Wellness jewellery and many others.
There will also be music from local band Jonah’s Lift, at around 3pm.
The event was the idea of Deli & Spice owner Lea Parry, who said: “I wanted to do something to launch my new deli. When I spoke to my fellow traders and artists on Islington Wharf, we all thought it would be a lovely idea to have a proper party.”
