Changing farming practices have been blamed for an increase in flooding at a beauty spot near Sithney.
Residents of Prospidnick called upon West Cornwall MP Andrew George to visit them and assess the issues himself.
A site meeting took place yesterday, Tuesday, at the Old Piggery, with Mr George meeting Cornwall Councillor John Keeling, Sithney Parish Council representatives and residents.
There he inspected a site that has been subject to regular flooding in recent years.
Local people suspect that it is the result of changing farming practices in the area as much as an increase in rainfall.
Mr George is expected to release a statement about the findings of the site meeting at a later date.
