'Local' man dies following Nancegollan crash

A 68-year-old man injured in a single-vehicle crash at Nancegollan in early April, and who later died in hospital, has been named as Kenneth John Yarworth.

The collision took place at around 3.50pm on Wednesday, 2 April 2014 on the B3303 and involved a red Citroen car.

Police say that the vehicle, travelling towards Helston from Camborne, left the road and collided with a hedge.

The driver, 68-year-old Kenneth John Yarworth, was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital with what were thought to be minor injuries.

The man died in hospital on Monday, April 14.

He has not yet been named.

Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact the Police on 101, quoting log number 0501 of 020414.

He died on 15 april and has today been named as Kenneth John YARWORTH 68 years old
