Crash rescue equipment had to be used to free a horse trapped in a vehicle bulkhead yesterday.
Crews from St Columb and Newquay were called to Trebudannon, St Columb at 3.39pm, with a rescue tender from Bodmin also mobilised.
The firefighters found a horse trapped over the internal bulkhead of a horse box. The horse was released using crash rescue equipmentn and taken into the care of the attending vet.
