A St Agnes based band has travelled to Ireland to represent Cornwall in the celtic version of the Eurovision song contest.
The Aggie Boys Choir will represent the duchy at Celtavision, part of the Pan Celtic Festival which is being held in Londonderry from April 22 to 27.
The group were asked to compete earlier this year after winning the new song competition at Kan Rag Kernow, which celebrated songs writtenin the Conrish language, with their tune Meur ras Kernow.
After winning the competition, the band said: "It gives us all a great sense of pride and achievement to be Cornish and we feel very attached to the song and hope it reaches out to everyone who has Cornwall in their hearts. Now bring on Ireland!”
