An Easter fair held to raise money for the Falmouth and Helston District Cats Protection group last Saturday proved to be a treat for families.
Taking place at the Rosemullion Vets, at Helston’s Angel Centre, the event was “buzzing with people” and was “very well attended”, with lots of volunteers attending, said fundraiser Maureen Rapley.
Including competitions for children, food, merchandise and handicrafts, the day went “much better than expected.”
Maureen Rapley added: “The day went very well and was packed with lots of people who were keen to get involved and support Cats Protection. It was a very lovely afternoon.”
The group is responsible for raising funds for the needy cats in the area and holds frequent events to raise funds.
