Fashion at bargain prices will be on show in Helston this Tuesday, April 29 – in a bid to raise money for charity.
Helston WI is hosting its annual fashion show from 7pm, in St Mary’s Church Hall.
This year, for the first time, the proceeds are going to Children’s Hospice South West.
Clothes from the charity’s shop in Coinagehall Street will be modelled by a mix of ages, from girls as young as 11 through to members of Helston WI and volunteer workers at the shop. The garments will then be available to buy at the end.
The ladies of the WI will be tempting audience members during the interval with a selection of homemade cakes and refreshments, the proceeds of which will cover the costs of the event so that every penny raised on the sale of items will go directly to the charity.
Tickets, costing £3.50, are available for sale from the charity shop or at the door.
