Did you witness Good Friday crash at Rosevear Hill? Police issue appeal following death of St Keverne motorcyclist

First published in News

Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of a St Keverne motorcyclist.

The man was killed at Rosevear Hill, near Mawgan just before 4.40pm on Good Friday.

A black KTM motorcycle and a silver Smart car, registered to the Truro area, collided on the hill.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene while the male driver and his female passenger in the Smart car reported minor injuries.

Police closed the road as specialist collision investigators and scenes of crime officers put together their reports.

A police spokesman said an appeal had now been launched for witnesses to the collision and the moments leading up to it.

Officers particularly want to speak to a white van that may have been following the Smart car.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 614/18/4/14.
