A 71-year-old man who died at the scene of a crash in Hayle has been named as local man David Frost.

The crash happened at 4.30pm on the B3301 Loggans Road, Hayle, where a a gold coloured Volvo V70, left the carriageway and crashed into a wall.

The driver of the car, David Frost aged 71 from Hayle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle is believed to have been travelling towards Hayle from the direction of Gwithian.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, or to anyone who may have seen a brown/gold Volvo V70 estate. If you can help please ring 101 and quote log 563 of April 25, 2014.
