Firefighters called to Fowey extractor fire

Falmouth Packet: Firefighters called to Fowey extractor fire Firefighters called to Fowey extractor fire

Firefighters were called to extinguish a small fire in an extractor fan at Fowey at 8.30pm yesterday.

Two appliances from Fowey Fire Station attended the fire at a property in Fore Street.

The fire service said: "On arrival the crews found a fire in an extractor fan which had extinguished prior to their arrival. The fire crew used thermal image camera and small tools to make the scene safe. The cause is believed to be accidental."

By the way, I used to be obsessed with large farm equipment, but not any more. You could say I'm an ex-tractor fan.

Lol, you have just given my very frustrating day a much needed laugh and diversion. Good thing I check the Packet website periodically throughout the day. I am glad no one was hurt in the fire, although I suspect it left the occupants in a bit of a spin.
