Flanders poppies planted at Penmere Station to tribute to Great War railway men
The Friends of Penmere Station were also out on Sunday planting the station’s flowerbeds with Flanders poppies.
Steve Lloyd, from the group, said: “The Friends planted poppy seeds as part of their tribute to all who fought in the Great War, especially ex-railway men who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
