The Friends of Penmere Station were also out on Sunday planting the station’s flowerbeds with Flanders poppies.
Steve Lloyd, from the group, said: “The Friends planted poppy seeds as part of their tribute to all who fought in the Great War, especially ex-railway men who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
