End of an era as Penryn Infants headteacher retires after 26 years at the school

Gillian Wright has retired as the headteacher of Penryn Infants School.

Mrs Wright, who has worked at the school for 26 years, was the head teacher for the last 20 years.

She had her last day at the school, which is set to merge with Penryn Junior School as a primary academy, on the last day of the Easter term.
