Tin, tales and torches at East Pool Mine
As part of 'Museums at Night' this year, visitors will be able to experience East Pool Mine near Redruth in a very special way.
As dusk descends, local storyteller Mark Harandon will be telling tales about Cornish mining.
Jo Warburton, Custodian comments: “These stories are simply magical; and with East Pool Mine as the backdrop, this promises to be quite an evening of entertainment.”
As well as tales from Mark Harandon performed in different parts of the mine, there will be surprise activities led by Cornwall College students. Visitors are encouraged to bring a torch and dress for the outdoors.
