Any Packet readers who have a few hours to lend to a good cause are asked to contact Falmouth AgeUK day centre, which is in need of a helping hand.
The centre, in Killigrew Street, is currently advertising for a volunteer to run a sales stall on its forecourt each Friday (same day as the local car boot sale) from about 1pm.
Any money raised will go towards the centre’s running costs or to help pay for outings for clients, many of whom have memory or mobility problems.
Anyone who is willing to help is asked to contact the day centre manager, Lucy Downing, on 01326 316880 for more information.
