A dog owner has come forward to help police with their inquiries into an attack that left 22 newborn lambs injured, 14 of them dead.
As reported last week, farm worker Ben Coleman discovered two dogs chasing the lambs around a field in Porthleven, just above the cricket club, at around 6.15am on Monday last week.
Sheep farmers Hugh and Sally Dawson, of Methleigh Farm, at Methleigh Bottoms, appealed for help indentifying the dogs.
Now a member of the public has contacted Helston Police Station to help as part of the investigation, which remains ongoing.
Anyone with new information is asked to call Helston Police Station on 101, ref AH14/481.
