Mullion Primary School pupils enjoyed an experience that was out of this world when they were visited by a space dome.
The younger children in key stage one got to learn all about the stars and solar system inside the portable, inflatable planetarium dome set up by Josh Yates of Explorer Dome.
They were so inspired they went on to create artwork based on what they had seen.
Meanwhile the older pupils in key stage two enjoyed a science lesson with a difference, involving solids, liquids and gas displayed through popping containers, crushing bottles and a frozen banana.
One youngster, Joseph, described the lesson as “dangerously awesome.”
A spokesperson for the school said: “This is not a visit any of the children will forget in a hurry.”
