Have your say on new logo for Camborne

In March Camborne BID asked, "What’s your story Camborne?", and now it is asking for the public's help choosing a new logo for the town's branding.

Over 170 responses were received and have informed the process of creating a "brand identity for Camborne that people and businesses can own, use and wear with pride in the future".

A Bid Camborne spokesman said: "The Camborne brand identity will represent the following values; Authentic, United, Connected, Inventive & Industrious.

"We feel the two logo routes below, although very different, strongly represent these brand values. The logo routes have already been reduced to two options.

"We would now like your opinion on the proposed two logo routes for Camborne. Your opinion will be used to help BID Camborne decide on which logo to adopt to take Camborne forward into an exciting future."

I prefer option 2 as it is specific to Camborne, whereas a 'C' could just signify Cornwall. In addition to which, I personally think option 2 looks more 'adult' originated and intricate, as opposed to something that resembles a 'play group' design.
