A Porthleven charity shop is celebrating five years of being open for business.
The Cellar Charity Shop was created from a former fishermen’s net loft in Fore Street in 2009.
Since then it has donated thousands of pounds to a variety of charities and causes, in Porthleven, throughout Cornwall and overseas.
These have included building an orphanage in Burma. It is run by a team of volunteers, including from Porthleven Apostolic Church, with pastor’s wife Sarah Chaplin acting as team leader.
It is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9.30am and 4.30pm, plus Saturday from 9.30am until 1pm.
