A bull bred on a farm at Constantine has smashed all records for its breed at the annual Spring Sale in Bristol.
Bosahan Dynamo, a British Simmentel, was sold for 9,600 guineas – a centre record for the breed.
Bred by Mr and Mrs J Olds of Bosahan Farm, Constantine, Dynamo was also selected as the pre-sale Male Champion by judge Vikki Wood, from Preston in Lancashire.
He was sold to the Michael Barlows Denizies herd at Four Oaks in Lancashire. Trade was described as “electric” at the annual sale at Washingpool Sales Centre on Saturday.
The show of well turned out cattle saw buyers and bidders from across the UK and Southern Ireland.
