A manhunt is still underway after a 42-year-old was stabbed in Newquay.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the man was attacked at around 12.50pm on Thursdayin the area of Fernhill Road.
The 42-year-old victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske.
The suspect, who has not yet been located, is described as male, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins, bald, of average build and was possibly wearing a grey top.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 377 of 15 May.
