Cornish man killed by 'stampeding' cows
Staffordshire Police have confirmed that a walker killed by stampeding cows was from Cornwall.
Peter Jakeman, 62, from Cornwall was killed by a "stampeding" herd at at Upper Mayfield on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border on Wednesday morning.
Mr Jakeman died in hospital and a police spokesperson said his death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.
