Full military honours at funeral for Cornishman killed in Afghanistan helicopter crash
Corporal James Walters who died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan, will be buried with full military honours today.
The service will takes place at St Crewenna Church at Crowan in West Cornwall.
A Book of Condolence for Corporal James Walters has been placed in the Lady Chapel for people to sign.
Cpl Walters, 36, known as Bungle, was a "highly respected" junior non-commissioned officer who had deployed to Afghanistan on numerous occasions.
Regularly at the centre of any debate, especially when the subject involved rugby or Cornwall, the helicopter's gunner was known to be a "consummate professional".
