The May Festival is set to return to Ruan Minor this bank holiday weekend with seven different bands and choirs scheduled to appear.
The event, that has raised money for the “The Rec” and the associated pavilion over several years, showcases musical talent in the area.
Beginning Saturday evening with live music in the festival marquee, the festival will lead into open-air jazz on Sunday afternoon accompanied by pasties and rum punch.
Gates open at 1pm on Monday for the family fun day including bouncy castles, face painting, a dog show and barbecue, with special appearances from Simon Bradley, fire eater, escape artist and trickster and West Cornwall’s own samba band, Samba Celtica.
