Councillors in Penryn have called for a site meeting to discuss an outline planning application for four three-bedroom houses on a plot of vacant land at Station Road.
Discussing the plans for three-floor houses, each with a footprint of approximately 36 square metres, the council said it supported development of the site but was concerned about issues including overdevelopment of the site, parking, and amenity space.
Councillor Mary May said: “We can support the development in principal, but three or four houses is a lot.”
She also raised concerns over whether the development would contribute to affordable housing.
