Coastline Housing has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, who will be taking her place at the helm at the start of June.

The Board of Coastline has announced the appointment of Ann Cornelius as Chief Executive Officer.

Ann was previously Executive Director for Customers and Communities at GreenSquare Group, a pioneering housing, regeneration and social investment agency working throughout Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

Derek Law MBE, Chairman of Coastline Housing, said: “I am delighted that Ann has accepted our invitation to become our new Chief Executive Officer. After a rigorous selection process, she greatly impressed us with her vision, business knowledge and determination. We believe she will be a great asset to Coastline and its customers.”

Ann said: “I am very pleased to have been offered the Chief Executive role at Coastline. This is a high performing, ambitious business that holds residents’ interests at the heart of all it does. I look forward to working with the Board, customers and the staff team to continue the good work”.

As Chief Executive Officer of Coastline, Ann will head an organisation which owns and maintains 4,000 homes across Cornwall, employs more than 250 staff locally and has an annual turnover of £24m.

Ann graduated from Swansea University with a degree in Social Policy and Administration and, after jobs in research and welfare advice, began her career in housing in 1985.
