The Falmouth Business Improvement District (BID) is hoping to add more new signs around the town, following on from the success of last year’s project which saw maps, finger posts and information boards go up at key points.

BID manager Richard Wilcox told a meeting of the Association of Falmouth Traders: “We are looking at additional signage areas that budget didn’t allow in phase one. These include potential town and coastal sites.”

The colourful visitor signage project which was rolled out across Falmouth by the town’s Business Improvement District (BID) has been hailed as one of the best BID initiatives in the country.

The Falmouth BID was awarded bronze for the scheme at the British BIDs’ conference in London.
