Film review guru Mark Kermode gets quiff cut at Falmouth barber

First published in News

He is nearly as famous for his quiff as for his work as a film critic, and for Mark Kermode, only one place is good enough for a trim when he is in Cornwall, Blackdog barber shop in Falmouth.

The critic and author visited Blackdog on Church Street for a quick trim last week and was snapped with the owner Guy Clarke.

We've got to be on our guard when it comes to celebrities and media types. We mustn't encourage them or they'll move in to Falmouth and we'll become like those godforsaken places like Rock, Helford and St Mawes. Just pop in and visit Padstow sometime and you'll see what I mean.

God I hope you're joking.....

By which I don't mean that I would like Falmouth to become like Rock but just by the narrow, closed mindedness of your comment.....
