The next “Helston celebrates” event will be held later this month with a street party to mark the summer solstice.
This is taking place on Saturday, June 21, when a market in Coinagehall Street will be followed by the tea party in Meneage Street from 2pm.
Vintage vehicles will also be on display and there will be street entertainment for all the family.
As part of the afternoon the carnival king and queen will be chosen by mayor Mike Thomas ahead of Helston Harvest Fair carnival on September 6.
