The cricketers of Constantine Primary School have received a boost with the Trengilly Wartha Inn sponsoring new kit.
A team from years three and four played at a local tournament in Redruth where six schools were entered. Constantine won the competition, making their way through the competition unbeaten. In total, throughout all games, Constantine scored 276 runs and conceded just 142.
Teacher James Hitchens said: “The Trengilly's continual generous sponsorship of the school is greatly appreciated and the kit has been the talk of the school. It was great for the boys to go to a local competition and play so well. There were six good teams there and the day was played in good spirits and in beautiful conditions.”
The lads now move on to the County Finals day which takes place at Truro Cricket Club on June 30.
