Police have confirmed that the body of a man discovered in a disused building at Penzance Dry Dock last month is that of Christopher Agar, who has been missing since April.
Mr Agar, 34, was reported missing from his home in Bath on April 4 and was seen on CCTV getting off a train in Penzance that evening.
An extensive missing person enquiry was undertaken at the time but he was never located.
Police were called around 5.20pm on May 23 after the discovery of a man’s body in a vacant building at the dry dock in Wharf Road.
Formal identification has now been carried out and Mr Agar’s next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and police will produce a report for the coroner.
