Today is set to be the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures expected to reach 24C in Falmouth, the same as the weather in sunny Rio De Janeiro
The Met Office says that any isolated mist patches will soon clear this morning to leave a fine and dry day with lengthy periods of sunshine. It will feel warm and humid, but slightly cooler along northern coasts where sea breezes are likely to develop.
Tonight it will remain mainly dry with light winds and clear spells, particularly in the west. However, cloud will gradually build from the northeast with some patchy showery rain affecting eastern areas later. Minimum Temperature 10C.
Saturday will generally be dry and bright with the best of the sunny spells in the west. There will be more cloud in eastern areas with some isolated showers possible at times. Maximum Temperature 22C.
The outlook for Sunday to Tuesday is for it to remain mainly dry throughout with variable amounts of cloud and some good sunny spells. Winds will remain light and it will feel warm.
