Both two-legged and four-legged visitors to Stithians a fun day at the fair, in spite of damp conditions.
As well as stalls and refreshments in the village hall, visitors to Stithians Fayre Day enjoyed the fun dog show, with categories including best temperament, handsomest dog, prettiest bitch, waggiest tail and best trick.
Lindsey Stevenson, show organiser, said: “It went really well despite a bit of damp weather.
“Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, and there were lots of people who have been coming over the years. This was the 147th one.”
As well as providing a family day out, the event raised over £1,000 for Stithians Parish Church.
