A family fun day at Kimberley Park in Falmouth went down a storm on Sunday afternoon.
Blessed with blue skies and warm sunshine hundreds of local people turned out to take part in the many activities arranged for the day.
With a few table tennis tables set up in the park grounds, members of Falmouth Table Tennis club provided free classes and demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
Alongside the active entertainment, a gospel choir also performed, as did local radio DJs from Source FM.
Organised by the Kimberley Park Association and Source FM, money raised from the event, through cake sales and donations, is being put towards a permanent table tennis table for the park.
Janey Davis from the Kimberley Park Association, said: “The day could not have gone better.”
A substantial sum was raised, although the total is still being counted. Once calculated, the final amount will be posted on the Let’s Improve Kimberley Park Facebook page.
