The community group Coverack Space 2000 has been presented with a cheque for £1,075 by Lizard Peninsula Holiday Cottages.
The money was raised by holiday firm’s “visitor payback scheme” and will be used to help support a variety of activities in the Coverack community including first aid courses, wild flower walks and regular beach cleans.
Various events on Coverack beach will also be financed with the money, as well as the publication of Coverack’s ‘What’s On Guide.’ A spokesperson for Lizard Peninsula Holiday Cottages said “We would just like to say a big thank you to all our fantastic customers, without whom, this donation simply would not be possible.”
