Just over £200 has been given to Porthleven's Brownie pack to pay for new handbooks.
The council was told the group currently had ten members, with a further six girls due to start.
It was agreed to allow for 20 books, at a cost of £214.
The Brownies meet each week at the school and attend community and civic events, such as the recent royal visit by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
