The entrance to one of Porthleven’s car parks is looking “bedraggled and tired” according to one town councillor.
Dick Powell raised the issue when the council met last Thursday.
He questioned the maintenance of the Kittos Field area, saying: “It comes up every year, when the wild flowers are past their best and it looks bedraggled and tired.
“It’s the impression people get when they pull in to the car park.”
Andy Wallis, who is both a town councillor and Cornwall Councillor, said the area was cut twice a year and he promised to push for it to |be done.
A similar concern was raised by a member of the public, who complained about the overgrown foliage at the bottom of |Tolponds and the saplings at the Stopgate junction.
