Firefighters called to hedge blaze near Chiverton Cross
Fire crews were called to Mithian Downs, near St Agnes this afternoon after a report of a hedge on fire.
Six firefighters in one appliance from Truro attended just after noon after a call to some hedge on fire between Chiverton roundabout and Mithian.
Crews used one hose reel to damp down and make safe an area of eight by one metre of hedge.
