Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted by three men in Callington.
On Sunday, June 22, at around 11pm, the 48-year-old local man was walking home through the recreation ground and skate park on Saltash Road, when a man shouted at him.
He turned around and was punched in the face and kicked in the ribs by one man, and then kicked in the head by a second man.
He believes there was also third man involved in the unprovoked attack.
The victim suffered bruised ribs, cuts and grazes to his face and a suspected fractured cheek.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information that could assist with investigation, is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference CR/083803/14, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
