Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Redruth, after a local man had part of his ear bitten off outside a kebab shop.
The alleged attack happened outside New Kebab Pizza and Burger Takeaway in West End around 1am on Sunday, June 29.
A 34-year-old Redruth man was in the shop when five men came in and began verbally abusing his girlfriend. A fight then ensued where the victim had the top of his ear bitten off.
He also sustained multiple cuts and bruises and was taken to Treliske Hospital for treatment for his injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the serious assault and seeking the five men in connection with the incident.
