There was a fantastic turn out for the West Cornwall Motor Show on Sunday with the sun shining for the annual event.

Held at Wendron Cricket and Football Club for the third year running, there was entertainment for all the family and a multitude of unique performers.

The Swamp Circus ran two workshops, exhibiting their skills before giving the audience the opportunity to have a go too.

As professional stilt walkers strolled around the showground, there was a wide range of acts providing live music for the day. These included an Elvis tribute along with Wendron Silver Band, The Singing Seagulls and many more.

Vintage vehicles, such as cars and motorcycles, were on show and children’s activities, trade and craft stands and refreshments were available at the event.

One of the most popular acts was the Searchers Old West Re-Enactors, conjuring the Old West amongst the authentic tents and camp fires.

Peter Thorne, who organised the show, thanked all the volunteers and dealerships who he said were a tremendous help behind the scenes and made the event the massive success that it was.

The grounds were packed full with visitors as they thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.

The money raised has not yet been calculated but is expected to be another good sum.
