You've obviously never been Cadgwith then, it's a closed village, only interested in tourists spending money, don't want anyone moving in there in case they spoil their idilic cosy little clique. They can keep the jumped up so called celebrities, theyre only people, why put them on a pedestal.
Yes i have been to Cadgwith and obviously saw it different to you

Just realised I have never been to cadgwith. May well pop down today. Hopefully the packet will not feel the need to report this.
Stopped buying the printed packet as it was full of pictures of the ex mayor so not inclined to start purchasing again with the quality of recent articles.

I have not been to Cadgwith for years, but on the occasions I did visit I found everyone friendly. The Lizard is already the home to several television celebrities, although I personally hold no particular interest in celebrities, it is most probably beneficial for business which can only be a good thing.

I buy the Falmouth and Helston Packet every week, and I do not recall either being full of pictures of an ex mayor. It is common practice to report on the change over of mayors after their time in office.

Ron you say you stopped buying the packet because it was full of pictures of the ex mayor, you have made it plain your dislike for Jonathan many a time, but I think your comment now is a bit petty, when the packet covers an article like the old mayor standing down or handing over to the new mayor, it also covers any civic event involving any current mayor, it is only for one weeks edition each time and there are plenty of other articles to read, the same articles are all put on here and you quite happily read this website and comment on those articles including the ones about Jonathan so I think you just use every opportunity to have a dig at Jonathan. What exactly is it about him you don't like? Considering he's not even mayor anymore?

I've been to Cadgwith lots of times, they have a folk music event coming up there soon.

Beautiful little village, friendly people, Gilly Johns gallery is really nice (and a lot cheaper than some in Falmouth) and the pub is very friendly.

I stopped buying the Packet when it became a tabloid and stopped being highbrow.... oh, hold on, it never was, otherwise some of the people above wouldn't be reading it and commenting, no one forces you to.

Ron i read the headlines first and if i think it looks interesting i go on to read the article , maybe you should do the same then you wont waste your time by reading things you arent interested in .ie the condom/lollipop story which you did leave comments on and this item also. Nobody forces you to read them and the headline must have caught your attention in the first place

I like Cadgwith but the car park is expensive. I dont drive but i pay the carpark if someone takes me. Wouldnt know a celebrity if i saw one. I bought a nice Gilly Johns painting in Mullion Gallery of Mullion harbour before it fell to bits.
Rons really funny, He makes statements then cant back them up when quetioned about them, he would do well as a Cllr because a lot of Helston tc are like that. They say things but cant really back up what they say i think.
