Port councillor stands down for personal reasons

First published in News

Julia Schofield has stepped down from Porthleven Town Council with immediate effect, citing personal reasons.

She is soon to be followed by councillor Brian Michael, who intends to leave at the end of this month as he will be moving out of the port.

Residents have 21 days to request an election from Cornwall Council, which ten electorates must call for, otherwise new members can be seconded.

They certainly don't get through as much money as Helston TC.
Ron Edgcumbe wanted to be a Cllr, he could put in for a vacancy, he lives within three miles.
